Workshop - Christopher Parrott
Parrott shows how some of history’s greatest artists utilized the Golden Section to create iconic masterworks. Parrott will share some of his experiences studying with Barnstone, and how those lessons have been applied to his career as an internationally-exhibiting artist. Students will learn basics of Golden Section design, as well as how value (light and dark) can be used to create the illusion of three-dimensional form. They will receive homework materials -- a selection of classical paintings and tracing paper -- to explore how the masters incorporated precise geometric design into their work.
